A Breeze Alternative Made for UK Churches
Breeze is popular, simple and well reviewed. It’s also built for churches in the US, and its own help centre says so. Its giving tools work in the US and Canada, and it’s priced in dollars.
If your church is in the UK, you’ll want Gift Aid, UK data protection and a bill in pounds. That’s what Church Member Software is built around.

When Breeze is the better choice
Breeze does several things we don’t. It could be the better fit if you need:
- a free, done-for-you move from your old system
- children’s check-in with label printers and kiosks
- event registration and room booking
- links to tools like Mailchimp, Planning Center and QuickBooks
Bringing your records across from Breeze
Export your people from Breeze to Excel and upload the file. We read Breeze’s American dates correctly, keep families together and show every change before it’s saved.
Then add your Gift Aid declarations. Any that cover the past 4 years make older gifts claimable straight away.
Questions churches ask
- Can UK churches use Breeze?
- Many do, but Breeze’s help centre describes it as built for the US, with giving for the US and Canada only. It doesn’t cover Gift Aid.
- Will my Breeze dates come across correctly?
- Yes. Breeze exports dates in American order, and our importer reads them that way.
- Is there a free plan?
- No, but you can try everything free for 30 days without a card.
