Emailing your church

Every email is one of two kinds:

• Church life: rotas, service changes, meetings. It goes to everyone with an email address.
• News and appeals: newsletters, events and fundraising. The law treats this like marketing, so it only goes to adults who have agreed, and always has an unsubscribe link.

Before you send, you’ll see exactly who it will reach and who it won’t, and why. Record someone’s agreement on their record (under Email), or let them choose in the member area.
